In addition to
attaching glaze images to recipe files Matrix will attach a text
file of unlimited length to a recipe file. This facility allows
you to develop extensive notes about your work with a particular
recipe. It can include information which has no place in the recipe
file itself.
Glaze text files
can be developed inside Matrix using the simple built in text editor.
Opening
a Recipe's Text Editor
When a recipe
is displayed in a recipe panel the text file for that recipe can be displayed in a text editor by clicking the button in the toolbar below the recipe. Outside of Matrix the textfile can be opened using Word Pad or a similar text editor.

Loading the Contents of the Recipe File into the Text Editor
When a recipe
is displayed on screen the recipe can be pasted into the
text editor using the menu item shown in Fig.2 below

In the
text editor the recipe data can be reformated and added to
or reduced.
Changes
in the text editor will not effect the original recipe file.
In future
when the recipe is loaded again in Matrix the text file can
be displayed by clicking the
button on the tool bar.
If you delete the recipe that this text file is associated with using the Delete Recipe in Active Panel item in the Recipe to Formula menu then the text file will also be deleted.
